Research Agenda
My research interests include the administrative features of health policy, community development, and public finance. This work has led me to projects examining how the 2016 presidential candidates communicated issues of public health, analyzing the intersection of community development and public administration, and surveying practitioners of budgeting, planning, and economic development.
Works in Progress
The following are my current research projects:
- A survey of the cybersecurity policies and practices of US cities
- A study examining the effect of town and gown partnerships on community and economic development
- A study analyzing the city-county consolidation during a time of fiscal emergency for one of the consolidating governmental units
- A number of applied community research projects in the Augusta Metro area
